So last week was Miranda's wedding! We are all so excited for her and Brooks! I definitely miss having her as a roommate, but I'm so happy for her too! These are some pics. of the temple, them first coming out, and us waiting outside, I did get some pretty cute pics.! She looked so pretty and happy! It was such a nice day, after the temple she had a luncheon at the Entrada (where high school musical was filmed) and it was really nice, way good food! It's crazy to think that I'm getting old enough to where my friends are getting married, time flies by way to fast! I'm glad that I have the wonderful friends that I do! This day was good, but also a little sad as well because two of our roommates are now gone...Miranda is now married and is Mrs. Shurtliff, and our other roommate Brittney is getting ready to leave on her mission to New York in a month..We have so much fun and it's going to be weird without them in the apt.but i'm excited for them to go on with their lives. Brittney is going to be a great missionary! Shari and Gentry will still be living with me, so I'm glad not everyone is leaving, and we have a new roommate Chelsey and she is alot of fun too, I'm not sure if we're going to have someone else move in or not, but I'm sure we'll have fun with her too. Anyways Miranda's wedding was a nice day with all of us together for the last time..After the wedding and luncheon, we went Christmas shopping in St.George all day and that night we had tickets to the Forgotten Carols. I went last year and absolutely loved it! So I looked into getting tickets for all of us to go and it worked out perfect because we were all ready in St.George for the wedding. If you haven't gotten the chance to go see the forgotten caorls play, I would really recommend it. The music is beautiful!! And the message is soo good. It really makes you think of the true meaning of Christmas and how important Christ is in our lives. After the play I really reflected on my life and thought of how greatful I am for all the blessings that I have. I love the Savior and all that he has done for me! I know that he is always there for me and that he loves me. I need to do better to keep him close to me at all times and to love and serve others, because that is what Christmas is all about! I'm greatful for my family and how close we are, we have alot of fun together, and they've always been there for me. I'm greatful for my friends and the fun times that we have, they always keep me laughing! I'm greatful for this gospel and the love that it brings! Anyways this is a way long post...sorry, but I had a lot of thoughts after this day, it was just a really good day. I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and remember Christ at this time of year!

Chopped my Hair!!
So I decided that it was time for a little change in my hair, I've been lazy so it's been a long time since I've done anything with it! I know I keep changing between short and long hair, but I guess I just can't decide which way I like it better! haha..Once I cut it I want to grow it out, but once it's starting to grow out I just want to cut it! Oh well, I like mixing it up! I also lightened it quite a bit so that was fun too! I went up north to visit Lace, so I had Lori cut my hair and I think she did a great job! and it was fun to visit with her!

Cedar Christmas Parade
--What we were SuPposed to be originally, these are the costume stealers!
So Today was a huge parade in Cedar City. The newspaper said that no other city in the West has a parade like this haha..so it's a pretty big deal for Cedar and there was TONs of people there...Me and my roommate Shari were supposed to be a part of it, our ward was asked to do a float and so Shari volunteered me to do it with her, gotta love that! ha..so we were assigned to be 2 of the 3 muskateers. So we show up and the lady had decided to give our muskateer costumes away to these three boys, she thought it'd be better to have boys be muskateers, so she decided to fish around in her car and see what else she had for us. Well she came up with a chicken costume, and some weird joker costume! So we would have had to been split up by ourselves in way embarassing costumes! So when the lady walked away we just took off haha..we just couldn't do it, so we went and watched the parade instead! It was much funner to watch than be in I"m sure, we took pictures of the costumes we were supposed to be so obviously they found someone else to wear them so thats good! It was a way fun parade though, I was wishing that Maddie was there, she would have loved it! They had shrek, buzz lightyear and woody, the hulk, snow white, cinderella, the incredibles, and all sorts of celebrities, and they had a huge gingerbread man and rocking horse helium balloons it took 9 people to hold them down! It was way fun for the whole town!
It was a fun parade, but from the pics. you can tell why we decided to watch!

Never Think
This is from the movie Twilight!! I loved this song! And it's also cool because it was written and sang by Rob Pattinson who plays Edward the main character! Before I went to see Twilight I didn't think he was very cute and I thought they could have found someone cuter to play Edward, but after the movie I thought he was way cute! haha...so him singing and playing is a double bonus...Make sure to pause my music before you listen, it's a way pretty song!

Nat's Baby Shower!
So this last weekend I had a baby shower and a bridal shower one right after the other..It's crazy to think that my friends are starting to have babies and get married!! I feel so old...Alot of my friends from high school were down because it was Thanksgiving break so I got to see alot of them that I haven't seen in quite a while. It was so fun to catch up and visit with them. We talked about all the fun times we had in high school, we have so many fun memories! This is at Natalee Hanson's baby shower and then I went to my friend Miranda Fauver's bridal shower right after. Both were lots of fun and very nice. I'm very excited for both of them!

Wal-Mart Trip
So I was looking through some of my old videos and I have to say there are some pretty funny ones I have, I'm going to have to post some more later, but I thought I'd put this one up cuz it was making me laugh. This is me and my friend Logan at wal-mart down in St.George. A bunch of us made a wal-mart run and when we were walking around there was this random boom box playing dude looks like a lady and it was pretty loud. So we decided to start dancing with the canes that were propped up there. We had quite the crowd watching and the boom box just had to be in the tampon area! haha....hope you enjoy!

Tagged!
There is a rage of tags going around! This is an easy one. You go to the 6th folder in your pictures and pick the 6th picture in that folder, then tag 5 other people.
This was such a good day! These were my best friends down in St.George, we hung out pretty much everyday, we had some good times! This was near the end of the semester when all of us were getting ready to move and such so it was kinda sad..but this was a great road trip for us! Our friend Kaleb got his call to Mexico and this was at his farewell. He's from Green River, so we all drove down together Sat. and spent the night and then went to his farewell the next day. It was alot of fun, we went four-wheeling and had a bon fire out at the lake. Then spent the whole Sunday just chilling and relaxing, it was a good day..
From L-R, Kelli, me, Rachel, Kaleb, Shay, and Brooks
I tag: Miranda, Gentry, Casey, and Mandi!

Job Searching Equals No Fun
So this is pretty much my last week of volleyball practice so I am in the process of job hunting right now...Not fun! I did get a job as an income tax preparor, but I have to do alot of training on my own time before I start, the guy signed me into tax school and I have 2 classes I have to finish and I started yesterday, but there is soo much work, it is going to take me atleast a month I'm thinking to finish them so I'm still keeping my eyes open for a better job that does not require so much training (because I'm not getting paid to do these classes). So I have been looking online, but there aren't alot of way good jobs available in Cedar, especially at this time of year, most of them open up in the summer when students leave. But I have applied to a few places that I'm waiting to hear back from, hopefully something opens up for me..Today I had an interview with Primerica, I saw that they were looking for someone on the SUU website so I sent them a resume and they called me up for an interview. Well it was probably the worst interview of my life! I did good at it because they want me to come in for a second interview, but the guy was kinda a jerk so it's def. not a job that I'm interested in. I didn't really know what Primerica was before I went, but it's like a sales job, basically I'd have to try and sale insurance and then do debt consolodation. It's like a pyramid scheme kinda, you get people to work under you haha..so not really my thing. But basically he went off on me because I want to be a school counselor, he tried to tell me that school counseling is the worst field to go into, that I wouldn't be any good at it, and I'll never make enough money to survive doing it. Then he just said a few other things that bothered me, so I left the interview wanting to cry haha...It was bad, so basically he's going to call me today to set up a second interview and I am going to have to turn it down, it's just not for me. But he made me feel like a complete idiot for wanting to be a school counselor, so after the interview I was questioning if I was doing the right thing. But then I had an appointment with my academic advisor, who has a pyschology degree and she reassured me that it is a good field to go into and shared some of her experiences and I feel alot better now haha...Anyways wish me luck on finding a job, I'm hoping I can find something good!

Yard Sales & Fall Cleaning-What a weekend!
Ok so this weekend me and my roomies decided to hit up some yard sales...Misty goes to them all the time and if you've ever seen Misty's place it is decorated way cute! And she says most of her stuff she gets at yard sales and fixes it up...So I decided to try it out..So me and my roommates saw some signs with some yard sales that were going on so we went on an adventure on Sat. So I guess I need Misty to come with me next time because I'm not really sure how to pick stuff out or what yard sales to hit up because I didn't find a lot, but we did find a really cute shelf for five bucks! Heck ya! So..it just needed a good paint job and it'd look brand new. So I bought some black spray paint and Misty helped me to paint it and sand it to give it an antique look and it's a really cute shelf if I say so myself..So I got a shelf for only five bucks that could have cost me like 40 at quilted bear or something and it looks just as good! So my new thing is hitting up yard sales, and it's fun to paint and decorate and make it your own. After the yard sales me and my roommate decided that our apt. is looking pretty gross so a little Fall cleaning was in order. We went yard sale-ing from 9-10, and then from 10-5 we cleaned the whole apt.! It was pretty exhausting, but we re-arranged, dusted, washed walls, cleaned cupboards, bathrooms, did laundry and the whole shebang! And our place feels and looks soooo much better! There really is nothing like a clean house! The one thing that I don't like about our apt. is that our kitchen is all white! White tile, white cupboards and everthing, so it gets dirty really fast..so hopefully after we spent all day cleaning it will stay clean for awhile! After this long day of work we had to hurry and get ready for the Relief Society Broadcast at six. and it was soo good! I loved it..If you didn't get a chance to watch it go online and watch it because it was good. I especially liked Dieter F. Uchtdorf's talk. He talked about how sometimes we don't think that our efforts are good enough, but that we need to be more satisfied with what we do because we are daughters of god and have infinite worth. It was really good and something that I def. needed to hear. So this weekend was alot of work and play, but it was really good! Sorry to my fam though for missing out on Lagoon, I heard it was alot of fun!

Egg Toss
Me & Nia, or Coach Cool and Coach Genius as the girls call us, haha..
This is Heather, she comes and helps out sometimes. She's trying to break this egg with her two fingers haha..
So Our girls have been having a little trouble with passing! So me and Nia(the girl I coach with) thought it would be a good idea to have them practice with eggs to teach them how to cushion the volleyball. So we had them each get a partner and toss the egg back and forth. You have to cushion the egg when you catch it or else it will break all over, which some of the girls figured out the hard way! haha.. It was a really fun activity and the girls did show some improvements with passing after we did it.

Volleyball Tournament
So...It's the weekend!! Yay!! I'm headed to St.George for the weekend because my volleyball girls have a tournament in Hurricane! I'm excited it should be lots of fun. I am going to visit all my friends down there and then watch a lot of volleybal games haha...I'm hoping my girls do good, they should do great. My sophomore team has alot of talent so I think we should win it. As for the freshman team, they probably will not do as good haha..but it'll be alot of good experience both for them and me as a coach seeing as how I'm still new to everything! I'll try to take some pics. of the tournament and get them up next week or something!

Cedar/Volleyball
I'm just getting started so you'll have to bear with me while I figure everything out!! Also I don't have a whole lot of time right now, school and volleyball is keeping me busy so I will try and update it better, but it might take some time! But anyways....as for school I am really liking Cedar alot so far. It is smaller than St.George and I like that, its actually really pretty down here! It's been pretty hot down here too, so I haven't noticed a huge difference from here and St.George...Everyone in Cedar is really nice and it's a little more relaxed here which I really like, but I do miss St.George and some of my friends down there! Coaching volleyball has been really good for me. Its keeping me in shape because I like to try and work out with the girls and it is alot of fun. The only thing I don't like about it is having to travel! I'm too old for bus trips anymore haha.. but my girls are improving and I think that with some more experience they will be better players! We've played 4 games and only won one so we definitely have alot of work to do before region play starts. Anyways that is about all for now so like I said it might be awhile before I update more, but just be patient with me!
