SO last week was my 21st birthday!! It's crazy to think that I am this old! Time seriously flies by.. I am now legal, but don't worry I don't plan on drinking! I have really good family and friends that made it a great birthday! I woke up to a big poster hanging on my door that I ran into haha, Thanks Gentch! Gentry also got me a really cute frame with a fun pic of me and her..Then Mist came over and visited and brought Addison and some home made reeses bars (soo good) It was fun to visit with her and play with little Addy! Lace sent me a package that I got a little bit after, it was a fun goody basket with lots of fun treats! Maddie also drew me a picture that I got in the mail that was so cute, I love her little drawings :) Then Miranda and Shari got me some really cute undies and a cute wallet! My parents got me a really nice bike, which there is a pic on one of my other posts you can see, but it is so cute! Then all of my roomies and Miranda drove down to St.George to eat at red robin and meet up with my friends down there, Chelsey was so sweet and bought me dinner..and then they made the waiters sing to me! So embarassing, they gave me balloons and free ice cream though! Then after my friends down in St.George had cup cakes and I blew out candles! Very fun! Thanks everyone, it was a great birthday!

No worries though I kept them in place!

So this weekend one of my friends from down in St.George, melanie, asked me to play in a volleyball tournament in Panaca,NV with her (thats where she's from). Its a tiny town about an hour and fifteen minutes west of Cedar (middle of nowhere, kinda like Emery COunty haha!) So we headed down Friday and spent the night and then woke up bright and early on Saturday morning for the tourny. We played from 7:30 to 4, pretty much non-stop other than a lunch break for a half hour! So by the end of the day I was definitely sore and tired! We ended up taking 2nd place, not to bad but we seriously should have won! Oh well, could of, should of, would of...Then after we got done playing the weather was so nice so we decided to take a dip in the springs there. They were really warm, but kinda gross because there was alot of moss and such! haha..then we got some people together and had a fire and made tinfoil dinners and later that night we watched Austraila, its a really good movie.. Anyways it was a really fun weekend!

Tanner and his friends got together before prom and had a very nice dinner at Shari's house--her little bro and Tanner are friends so me and Shari drove down together to watch prom and we also surprised the boys and served them their dinner! haha..I'm pretty sure Tanner wanted to kill me, but I couldn't help myself :)

Well I didn't think I was going to make it to Tanner's prom because I had been out of town alot lately so I wanted to spend a weekend in Cedar. But me and Shari (my roomy) both got out of class at two on Friday and had no plans for the night so we said heck lets go watch our little brothers promenade! Tanner his friends with Shari's little brother Derek and they were doubling together so it worked out nice that we went together and watched them. We also waitressed their dinner haha..It was alot of fun to see Tanner all dressed up in his tux he looked very handsome, and it was fun to watch him dance ( I didn't think he knew how, but he surprised me and did very well! ) Their prom theme was something with Pirates and it was decorated very cute. It seems like just yesterday that it was my prom so it brought back alot of memories! It definitely made me feel really old haha! My little bro is growing up and before you know it he'll be graduating! It's crazy how fast time flies!

Spring Break 09'

So I'm an idiot and didn't bring my camera charger home for spring break so unfortunately I don't have any pictures to post! But I did want to write about my spring break, which is almost over, danged it!! It went by way way to fast (as always!) Well I went and stayed at Lacy's house for the whole first weekend of the break, it was so fun! Lace had to work on Sat. so I got to babysit Maddie for a few hours and it was so fun!! I love playing with Maddie, she is so stinking cute and funny! Then after Lace got off work, Dj took Maddie and me and Lace headed up to Park City! woot woot..I haven't been to Park City since I was really little and I don't really remember anything so me and Lace decided to head on out for a little adventure. We went shopping at the outlets and found some cute stuff and good deals! You gotta love shopping! ( I told myself since it was my birthday coming up soon that I could get a few clothes for myself haha) Then we went out to eat at this place called the Baja Cantina, its a mexican place thats on the ski resort..We felt a little out of place cuz we were the only ones there without skis or snowboards strapped to their backs ha but it was a pretty nice place and the food was sooo good! It was crazy to see all the different people that go to Park city, you could tell that most of the people on the tables by us were not from America..It's crazy. We decided that Park City is like a "get away without getting away" it was alot of fun. We strolled down historic main street too and that was really neat to see all the fun shops, but way too expensive for us..a pair of pants was like 200 bucks! crazy! But it was still fun to look. Then on Tuesday I decided to head to good ole huntington! So I drove down and brought Maddie with me because Lace had to work and then Lace drove down after work later that night. Wednesday was Emery's drill team spring show and Tanner was dancing with Kelcey Faimolo in the Co Ed dance so we wanted to go watch him dance..He did such a good job! I didn't think he was much of a dancer, but I think he did really well..it was so fun to watch! Thursday we decided to take Maddie swimming and Mel joined us and brought Griffin and Gavin! It was so fun. I haven't been to the new pool in Castle Dale yet, so I was excited to see what all the buzz about it was and it was so nice! i think it's awesome we have something like that for the kids to do! We had a blast swimming with all the little kids! Then forward on to today, which is Saturday and I was in a dodgeball tournament in Castle dale! Mandi's dad works for Emery Rec and he organized a dodgeball tourny for the county so Mand asked me to play on a team with them. So of course I made Tanner play with us too! So it was me, Tanner, Mandi, Her husband Jarvis, her brother Taylor, and her dad Tab. Pretty good team if you ask me! However, we ended up taking 3rd place, danged it! It was a close one, we should have won atleast 2nd, but we didn't pull it out haha..I'm not a huge dodgeballer I haven't played since high school, but it was a lot of fun! It was especially fun to see the 40 year old guys that were flipping out over every little thing, its dodgeball people! haha..but it was alot of fun, I'm glad I played! And I didn't do half bad! Well after the tournament me and Tanner decided it'd be fun to take our dad's razor for a ride up blacks hill by our house! So we were just riding over the hills having a good time, and I decided to go up this one hill, it didn't look to scary and I didn't think we should have any problems getting up the hill, but I was wrong! I got us stuck so Tanner got out to push us out, but it started to roll backwards which was so scary! So I hopped off because I knew we were going to roll, so after I jumped out sure enough it rolled all the way down the hill and landed on its side! So scary, and it was too heavy for us to pick up so we were stuck with it! Well my dad is always really iffy about letting me take the razor cuz it's his "baby" so he gave me a lecture before about how I need to be careful and drive slow and what not, so I did not want him to know what I did..but he was the only one home at the time so we had no one else to call haha..so I had to call my dad to come bail us out, and he did, but he definitely wasn't happy with me, I think it's safe to say I won't be able to drive the razor for quite a while! haha...kinda bad, but kinda funny at the same time. I've never rolled a four wheeler, so I was really scared, but luckily both me and tanner were ok, and no damage to the razor so that's a huge plus! I took a pic on my phone, but my memory card is in Cedar so I will put up a picture when I get back to Cedar, so you can see what I did! But anyways thats about my spring break, nothing too exciting, but it was a really nice week to not have to worry about school and such, it was so fun to be with the family all week, they are great!

Ok so just gonna vent a little....i hate the dating world! I mean dont't get me wrong, I really do like being single and I'm having fun with it and I really honestly can't imagine myself married right now ( I feel way to young and def. not ready ) but still dating is no fun. I'm getting pretty sick of it..It's always the same story, you like a boy and he doesn't like you..or you don't like a boy and he won't leave you alone. Why doesn't it just ever work out, you like a boy and he likes you back? i mean come on. But dating in Cedar City has not been that easy...my mom says that I'm just too picky, but I don't think I am...There hasn't really been any guys that I've thought is for me and the ones that I could see myself liking are married! I hate it..I go into class and there is a way cute guy sitting across the room, so I get myself all ready to go flirt it up and then I notice...the RING! Every time...but don't get me wrong, I don't want this post to seem like I hate boys and am like anti-dating, but it gets frustrating! But I will endure it and I know one day eventually it will work out for me and it'll be worth the wait.

So last weekend I went down to Moab and played in a volleyball tournament. It was alot of fun!! We drove down Friday got there about 5 and then played volleyball from 6 to midnight..then we woke up early and played from 7 to six! I was worn out after, but it was worth it! There was 43 teams there, so it was crazy packed at the gym, but we won all our games (minus 1 match) in our pool play so we made it into the A league!! Heck yes!! But then once the tourny started we went down hill, we were getting tired and didn't play the best ( we could have done alot better) We ended up taking like 10th??? ( I think ) out of 43 teams..so pretty good! It was alot of fun!
